What we collect and why

Please do not send passwords, recovery codes or unnecessary sensitive information in an enquiry. Information needed to answer an enquiry or fulfil an order must be supplied for us to do that; you do not have to provide unrelated details.

Searches and local support

The device search and local-support form run in your browser. Our site code does not send their entered values to a search database or store them between visits. Opening a Google Maps or Google search link sends the location, help type and optional brand contained in that link to Google. Visiting a manufacturer’s guide or Payhip takes you to another provider’s site, which has its own privacy practices.

Providers and sharing

Our current services include Porkbun for email forwarding, Google Gmail for receiving and keeping correspondence, Resend for sending replies, and Sites hosting provided through OpenAI with hosting infrastructure supplied by Cloudflare. Payhip and its payment providers handle purchases on Payhip. Their roles depend on the service: some process information on our behalf; others use information as independent controllers under their own notices. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where needed to comply with legal obligations or resolve a dispute. We do not sell enquiry information.

International processing

Some providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Applicable transfer arrangements depend on the provider, account and destination. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data. We must use an appropriate UK adequacy decision or other lawful safeguards where required for transfers we make.

How long we keep information

We retain ordinary enquiry correspondence for 90 days after the enquiry is closed, then delete it from our active correspondence records. If it forms part of an order, legal obligation, unresolved complaint or dispute, the relevant information may need to be kept longer for that purpose. Sales and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules; the 90-day enquiry period does not apply to those records. Provider backups, logs and deleted-item systems can have separate retention cycles.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site code does not currently add advertising cookies, analytics trackers, embedded third-party widgets or persistent browser storage. Search and local-support details are held in the current page’s memory. Our hosting infrastructure also sets cookies, as described below.

The following cookies were observed on nostresshometech.co.uk during a fresh private-browser check on . Expiry periods can vary with hosting settings, security checks and subsequent visits. A cookie’s browser expiry is separate from the retention of any associated provider records.

For details of Cloudflare’s cookies, see Cloudflare’s cookie documentation (opens in a new tab). We will update this notice when the hosting provider confirms the remaining details. Listing a cookie here does not itself establish that it is exempt from consent.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking security cookies may prevent access to parts of the site or cause repeated security checks. Browser controls are not a substitute for obtaining consent where it is required.

Payhip, Google and manufacturer websites may use their own cookies when you visit them. Our links do not embed those websites here. Google-domain cookies were not observed in the fresh check of this site alone. If we use technologies requiring consent, we must provide clear information and obtain consent before using them. Where a legal exception requires an objection mechanism, we must provide one.

Your rights and your right to object

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use or receive portable information where the right applies. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will consider an objection in accordance with data-protection law. If we ever rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. We do not use enquiry information for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Contact enquiries@nostresshometech.co.uk to exercise your rights. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Rights requests are normally answered within one month, with extensions or other exceptions only where the law permits.

Privacy complaints

You can raise a data-protection complaint by emailing us or writing to the address above. We will acknowledge it within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed and explain the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO; opens in a new tab).

Changes and contact

We will update this notice when our services or handling of information change. Contact us if you need clarification or a copy of the information relevant to your enquiry.
